About

Anna Carré

Registered Psychologist | Neuropsychologist

I am a Registered Psychologist and Neuropsychologist with over 20 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a range of clinical and assessment settings.

My practice focuses on comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessment, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Intellectual Disability (ID), and complex neurodevelopmental presentations.

I aim to provide careful, thorough, and evidence-based assessments that support accurate understanding, practical recommendations, and meaningful outcomes for individuals and families.

Professional Background

I hold a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master of Science (MSc) in Psychology. I am registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board under both the Psychologist and Neuropsychologist scopes of practice.

Over the course of my career, I have worked extensively in multidisciplinary settings and alongside health, education, and community services. My work includes diagnostic assessment, consultation, and specialist neurodevelopmental evaluation.

Approach

I recognise that seeking assessment can feel significant and, at times, overwhelming. My approach is respectful, structured, and collaborative. I aim to ensure that individuals and families feel informed throughout the process and that assessment findings are clearly explained and practically useful.
